Shelter to Soldier & My Coping Cards
Had the privilege to meet Vic Martin and his service dog Mia at Shelter to Soldier to discuss how we can integrate My Coping Cards into their program. As you know, My Coping Cards help people who experience stress or anxiety practice better self care. Shelter to Soldier adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries and/or other psychological injuries associated with traumatic service experiences. Please check out the wonderful things they are doing and support their mission to “save lives two at a time” by visiting their website at ShelterToSoldier.org.
